Baden-Württemberg: Suspension against Johnson: Ludwigsburg objection dismissed

Ludwigsburg/Ulm (dpa/lsw) - The appeal by MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg against Justin Johnson's ban has been dismissed. The arbitral tribunal confirmed the sanction imposed on the American in the next instance, as the Bundesliga basketball team announced on Monday. Johnson was banned for three games and fined for an assault in the derby against ratiopharm Ulm (87:84). The Ludwigsburg had appealed against the verdict. When the pack was formed after the end of the game, two Ulm players also received penalties.

Johnson sat in the stands at the Syntainics MBC game. He will also miss the upcoming Bundesliga games at Niners Chemnitz and against FC Bayern Munich. However, he is eligible to play against Limoges CSP in the Champions League.
