Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - Despite crises such as pandemics, war and inflation, the mood among people in the southwest has not deteriorated. Around half (51 percent) of the people in the state describe their mood as good or even great (7 percent), according to the "Baden-Württemberg Report" commissioned by a coalition of private radio stations in the state (Privat.Radio). According to the information, the mood in the country has remained good for the majority of people since September.

About one in three (31 percent) describes their mood as okay or not so good (10 percent). The proportion of respondents who are optimistic about the future has increased again. In the second half of November, 45 percent of people still stated their mood as confident, recently it was more than half (54 percent).

The biggest concerns of people in Baden-Württemberg continue to be inflation (81 percent) and the associated rising cost of living (79 percent). The least concern is currently the corona pandemic (18 percent). Still, half of the people in the country (50 percent) think ending mandatory isolation in the southwest is wrong. The decision received support from 43 percent of those surveyed - 7 percent of those surveyed were undecided on this question.
