Bavaria: Bus driver trapped under luggage flap died

Munich (dpa / lby) - After being trapped under the luggage flap of a bus in Munich, a bus driver died as a result of his injuries. The 49-year-old was crushed at the beginning of November at the state capital's central bus station when he was working in the luggage compartment of the bus, the police said on Monday. An employee of a security service had discovered the unconscious man and alerted the rescue services. The man succumbed to his injuries in a hospital a week later. The police are still investigating the cause of the fatal accident.
