Kufstein (dpa / lby) - A climber was buried in a rock fall in the Tyrolean Kaiser Mountains. Chunks in the size of five cubic meters fell on the Stripsenjoch on Thursday, said a spokesman for the operations control center of the German Press Agency. Because of fog, wetness and the danger of loose rock, mountain rescuers had to stop their search near the border with Bavaria for the time being. Four other alpinists with whom the missing person was traveling remained unharmed. No information was initially available on the origin of the group.
