Bavaria: worker seriously injured by 500-kilo metal plate

Gundelfingen (dpa/lby) - In Swabia, a 22-year-old was seriously injured by a metal plate weighing 500 kilograms. The worker at a company in Gundelfingen on the Danube (district of Dillingen) was hit in the legs when the plate was to be attached to a crane in the steel construction company and it suddenly fell over. The man was taken to a hospital after the accident on Wednesday afternoon, the police reported on Thursday.
