Drew Lock: Seattle's offense is going to show Noah Fant's love for football

Seattle's offense will look very different in 2022, regardless of whether Drew Lock or Geno Smith is at quarterback.

One of the Seahawks key weapons is Lock, who they shared with during their time together with the Broncos.

The Russell Wilson deal also included tight end Noah Fant, and now he's ready to make an impact.

Pete Carroll, the Seahawks' head coach, told reporters that Fant had had "probably the most spectacular camps of anyone." Lock suggested that Seattle's system might better serve Fant's tight end skill set.

"I think Noah's greatest asset in this offense is that you're going see more of his love for football," Lock stated via ESPN's Brady Henderson. His savviness and his ability to locate bodies, as well as how he feels defenses, are all things I admire about him. He'll have the chance to practice that in Denver, and I know he's excited about it.

Fant has shown promise since the Broncos selected his in the first round 2019 draft. But, he hasn't yet reached elite status. He caught 68 passes last year for 670 yards and four touchdowns. This was similar to his 2020 output of 62 receptions for 673 yard and three touchdowns.
