Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) - Federal Minister of Economics Robert Habeck will come to Wiesbaden (10.30 a.m.) this Monday for a meeting with his Hessian counterpart Tarek Al-Wazir (both Greens). Afterwards, Habeck and Al-Wazir want to visit ESM Energie- und Vibrationstechnik Mitsch GmbH, which is active in the field of wind energy, in Heppenheim (4:15 p.m.).
In Hesse, 45 new wind turbines were approved in the first three quarters of this year. That is as many permits as in the entire previous year and three times as many as in 2020. In the middle of the year, 1162 wind turbines were in operation in Hesse, and another 57 were about to be commissioned.
