Hesse: Man caught by car at stop and seriously injured

Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - At a tram stop in Frankfurt, a man was hit by a car and seriously injured. The 40-year-old stepped onto the road in Ostend on Tuesday to board a tram towards the city center, the police in Frankfurt said on Wednesday. At that moment, a 90-year-old woman hit the man with her car. According to the information, the seriously injured person was taken to a hospital, the driver was unharmed. A busy road was closed for hours in the evening rush hour towards the city.
