Kassel (dpa / lhe) - A motorcyclist died in a traffic accident near Edermünde (Schwalm-Eder district) in northern Hesse. He was hit by a minibus on Friday evening and fatally injured, the police in Kassel said on Saturday. The 70-year-old driver of the minibus wanted to turn left at a junction and probably overlooked the oncoming motorcyclist. Despite immediate resuscitation measures, the 58-year-old died at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the minibus was injured and taken to a hospital. The L3316 was temporarily closed after the accident. An expert was used to clarify the course of the accident, it said.
