Ludwigslust (dpa/mv) - According to the organizers, the small festival in the large park of the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern attracted around 9,000 visitors to Ludwigslust on Saturday evening. International artists presented music, cabaret, clowning, artistry and acrobatics on numerous stages in the largest historical park in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania.
For the first time since the outbreak of the corona pandemic, the two-day small festival will take place again without restrictions. Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig (SPD) said at the opening: "We are glad that culture is possible again." It is a piece of normality in a time of crisis.
With up to 18,000 visitors, the "Small Festival" weekend is traditionally one of the crowd pullers at the festival.
