Gorlosen (dpa/mv) - In the municipality of Gorlosen in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district, a forest burned over an area of around 3,000 square meters. The cause of the fire in the Dadow district on Wednesday afternoon was initially unclear, the police said.
A witness had reported the fire, which was only 50 meters from his property. Firefighters from nearby towns were able to bring the flames under control. The extinguishing work of around 60 firefighters continued, it was said.
