Greifswald (dpa / mv) - Pilots of the rescue helicopter stationed in Greifswald have been blinded again. It was an intense light source - probably a laser pointer - the police said on Wednesday. The incident happened at the end of last week when the machine started from the station at the University Medicine Greifswald.

The 36-year-old pilot and his 34-year-old co-pilot were not injured. The flight could therefore be continued. The police are investigating dangerous interference with air traffic. The perpetrator is so far unknown. The beam of light is said to have come from the north-eastern part of the city.
