Tribsees (dpa / mv) - A 47-year-old driver and her seven-year-old son were seriously injured in a rear-end collision on Autobahn 20 near Tribsees (Vorpommern-Rügen district). A 38-year-old was driving his car too fast on Saturday morning in bad weather conditions and therefore crashed into the woman's car, the police said. Both vehicles spun after the collision and eventually stopped in the fast lane. The mother and son were taken to hospital by ambulance.
The 38-year-old was slightly injured and was able to leave the hospital after outpatient treatment. The A20 was closed on one side for about two hours.
