Dusseldorf (dpa / lnw) - A teenager is said to have beaten a police officer during a drug control in Dusseldorf. The officers noticed the smell of marijuana and decided to control a group of five, the police reported on Monday. When a 40-year-old officer scanned the 17-year-old and noticed a suspicious object under his sweater, the teenager freaked out and hit the policeman in the face so badly that he had to be treated in the hospital.
On site, officers discovered a small amount of drugs on the ground. The alleged racket was handed over to a legal guardian.
