Mönchengladbach (dpa / lnw) - After the attack with a stabbing weapon on a 48-year-old in Mönchengladbach, there are three suspects. The 43 and 47-year-old men and the 42-year-old woman had given conflicting information about the course of the crime and the involvement in the crime, police and prosecutors said on Friday. The three were initially arrested. But since there was no urgent suspicion against her, she had to be released after the measures were taken, it said.
The suspects are believed to be connected to the local drug scene. According to the current state of knowledge, the act was probably preceded by a dispute in connection with narcotics, the investigators said.
The 48-year-old was injured with a stabbing weapon on Tellmann-Platz on Wednesday evening. He suffered non-life-threatening stab and cut injuries. The police are still looking for witnesses.
