Duisburg (dpa / lnw) - With fictitious appointments for sex, a woman and two men in Duisburg are said to have lured several victims into a trap and then robbed them. Plainclothes police officers arrested two suspects (20 and 31 years old) in the Hamborn district of Duisburg on Friday evening before Pentecost, the police said on Wednesday. The men have been in custody since last weekend.
You and a woman are accused of having offered erotic services with bogus accounts on an Internet platform. They lured their victims to the Schillerstrasse and Mecklenburger Strasse areas, where no sex adventures awaited the "customers," it said. The men pretended to be pimps or security personnel for the woman offered, demanded cash from their victims and searched them for weapons or dangerous objects they allegedly carried with them. While the perpetrators disappeared with the loot, the robbed waited in vain for their sex dates.
