Saxony-Anhalt: Logistics company for pharmaceutical products is established in Barleben

Barleben (dpa/sa) - A new logistics center with special requirements for pharmaceutical products is being built in Barleben (Börde district). A company spokesman announced on Tuesday that 42,000 square meters of logistics space are to be built by the North Rhine-Westphalian company Fiege on the approximately 90,000 square meter site north of Magdeburg. Different temperature ranges should also enable the handling of sensitive medicines. The center is to be built according to the latest safety and sustainable building standards. The completion of the new location is planned for the end of 2022.
