Dresden (dpa / sn) - Saxony has deported nine rejected asylum seekers from Tunisia to their home country with a collective transport. As the state directorate announced on Thursday, the plane took off from Leipzig-Halle Airport on Wednesday. Five passengers had lived in Saxony, the rest in other federal states. According to the state directorate, the asylum seekers lived in the Erzgebirge district, in Leipzig and in Dresden. In three cases, the asylum seekers deported by the Free State were convicted criminals, it said.
