Dresden (dpa/sn) - Police officers found 91,980 untaxed cigarettes during a vehicle inspection in the Görlitz district. Last Wednesday, a 29-year-old was checked at a rest area on Autobahn 4, as the main customs office in Dresden announced on Wednesday. The man was therefore traveling from Poland to Dresden. During the check, the police discovered several boxes on the back seat and in the trunk under a blanket. According to the information, they contained dozens of cartons of Polish cigarettes. The tax damage amounts to more than 20,000 euros.
