She is red. The underpants that Florian Silbereisen has been using as a lucky charm for many years. Since he has been wearing these, the ratings for his shows have been so good that he has now insured the garment.
Things didn't always go well for the pop singer, who was born in Tiefenbach in 1981. In 2007 he was voted the "worst dressed man" by Best Fashion magazine. But that was never the point of the showmaster.
The breakthrough and own shows
His breakthrough in show business came in 1999 with an appearance in the show "Krone der Volksmusik" moderated by Carmen Nebel. In 2004 he even replaced the presenter. Before that, however, he got his first TV show in 2002. Since then, "Mit Florian Hut und Wanderstock" has been on MDR. In 2006 he made his musical debut in "Elisabeth". His shows fulfilled him completely: he once described them as "wellness for the soul and as a counterpoint to the stress of everyday life and the bad news".
And his notoriety grew and grew. In 2006, Silbereisen found himself in the German Historical Museum in Berlin, where he was staged as one of the "100 heads of tomorrow".
Arrived at the top
Meanwhile, Silbereisen has arrived in Schlager heaven and in the German mainstream. In autumn 2015 he founded the hit trio Klubbb3 with his Dutch and Danish colleagues Jan Smit and Christoff De Bolle. Their first album together (2016) reached number 7 in the charts. It got even better: With the albums "Now it's really starting" and "We're getting more!", which were produced in 2017 and 2018, it went to number one.
In 2020 there was a successful collaboration with Thomas Anders. Together they stormed the charts right away. In the same year, he replaced Xavier Naidoo, who was kicked out, on the “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” jury. In the 19th season he was again on the jury of the talent show. This time without Dieter Bohlen as chief judge.
But Silbereisen no longer just focuses on the music. He has been a member of the hit series "Traumschiff" since April 2017. Since January 2019 he has embodied Captain Max Parger. He got a lot of attention from the boulevard through his long relationship with Schlager star Helene Fischer. They were in a relationship from 2008 to 2018, there are no children together.
