Weinheim (dpa / lsw) - A seven-year-old girl died as a result of an accident in a wave pool in Weinheim (Rhein-Neckar district). According to the public prosecutor's office, the child was briefly under water on Tuesday a month ago, and a guest pulled it out. Lifeguards resuscitated the seven-year-old. Rescue workers took the girl to the hospital, where she later died.
According to the information, the mother had briefly lost sight of the child, as the public prosecutor in Mannheim announced. However, there are no indications of criminally relevant behavior by the mother or the employees in the leisure pool.
