Rodgau (dpa / lhe) - After finding a body in Rodgau (Offenbach district), the police arrested a suspect. The 34-year-old was taken into custody, the police in Offenbach said on Monday. Investigated because of a homicide.
A dispute in an apartment building was initially reported to the police on Friday evening, when they arrived they discovered a fire in the ground floor apartment. The fire brigade extinguished the flames, and a dead man was found in the rooms. According to the announcement, his identity is still unclear. The cause of death will be clarified with an autopsy.
No further information about the crime was initially available. Police and prosecutors assume that the 34-year-old has something to do with the man's death. He was arrested shortly after the body was discovered.
