Rostock (dpa/mv) - The Luxembourg beverage wholesaler Splendid Drinks AG is the new main sponsor of the second division football club FC Hansa Rostock. As the club from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania announced on Monday, the professional team will wear the 28 BLACK lettering on their jerseys for the next three years. The company was already a partner of the Rostock-based company, has now become the main and jersey sponsor and is replacing Apex, a project developer for hydrogen power plant solutions, after only one year of commitment.
"I've been following Hansa for many decades, and the way out of the crisis, getting up and consistently continuing, as well as the fan culture also suit us and 28 BLACK," said Managing Director Günter Thiel. In addition to its commitment in the professional field, the Luxembourg company also becomes a partner in the youth field. The planned start of sales for the new home and away jerseys with the new lettering is July 2nd.
