Leimen (dpa / lsw) - In a head-on collision between a minibus and a car on the B3 near Leimen (Rhein-Neckar-Kreis), seven people were injured, three of them seriously. Among the occupants were three children who were slightly injured in the collision on Sunday near the St. Ilgen district, the police said in the evening.

According to the first findings of the investigators, a minibus occupied by a family of five, for initially unknown reasons, ran into oncoming traffic and collided with an oncoming car. The two occupants of the car and one person in the van were seriously injured in the accident. All seven people involved in the accident were taken to hospitals. In the meantime, the B3 was completely closed, and traffic was reopened in the evening.
