Amstetten (dpa / lsw) - In a rear-end collision near Amstetten (Alb-Donau-Kreis), four car occupants were seriously injured, including two children. According to initial findings by the police, the 45-year-old driver was apparently not paying attention on Friday and drove into a turning semitrailer without braking. The driver, her passenger and two children in the car were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The federal highway 10 was temporarily closed due to salvage work at the accident site. The traffic was local diverted. The police began investigating the exact cause of the accident.
