Munich (dpa / lby) - The EHC Red Bull Munich and the basketball players of FC Bayern Munich have to wait longer than planned for the move to the SAP Garden. The completion of the high-tech hall in Munich's Olympiapark, which will accommodate up to 11,500 spectators, has been delayed again and is now scheduled for spring 2024, according to a company announcement on Friday.
The reason for the delay is an acute "shortage of construction and raw materials, supply bottlenecks and a shortage of skilled workers," it said. The opening had previously been postponed from the second half of 2022 to the end of 2023.
