Hesse: luggage for 10,000 euros stolen at the airport: thief caught

Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - The police caught a luggage thief active at Frankfurt Airport. After intensive investigations, he was arrested near the baggage claim area on Monday, the police said on Wednesday. In the past few weeks, the 30-year-old has entered the baggage carousel hall in Terminal 1 without permission and was targeting particularly high-quality suitcases from passengers on an Asian airline. The police estimate the material damage from his thefts at a total of more than 10,000 euros.
