Frankfurt am Main (dpa / lhe) - A man threatened two employees at a job center in Frankfurt with a knife. The 34-year-old suspect stood before the authorities on Wednesday morning and complained about an invalid food voucher, the police said on Thursday. A clerk at the job center spoke to the man, who became increasingly aggressive over the course of the conversation. The 34-year-old then pointed a knife at the employee and a security guard. According to the police, both reacted calmly by going back into the building under a pretext, locking the door and alerting the police.
The police officers arrested the man and also found that there was an outstanding arrest warrant for him. He now has to answer because of the suspicion of the threat.
