High mountains. After two years of inactivity, the game festival is back in Veynes

Saturday 28 May saw the Veynes Lake host the Emile-Meurier game festival, which was organized with the assistance of Ludambule, volunteers, and the association.

The World Game Festival was the venue for the game festival. It is usually held on the last weekend in May. This festival aims to bring as many people to the games as possible.

This festival, which is held in Veynes, takes place on the same spot as the children's fishing festival, hosted by the association for lake fishermen. Due to a medical crisis, these two events were cancelled in spring 2020 and 2021.

Saturday afternoon was a beautiful day in the pine forest. The social center has several games for all ages.

People who attended the event with their families took full advantage of the free entertainment. Over 200 people joined forces throughout the afternoon to play the various games.

Christian Gilardeau Truffinet, mayor in Veynes, and his deputies Rajaa Toussaint (alain Causse) were there to welcome the public.

Marie Lemaire, Caroline Bellon and Caroline Bellon were respectively Presidents and Family Referents of the Social Centre. This partnership made it possible for the public to enjoy two high-quality events.

Thanks to the support of Veynes municipality, CAF, and Hautes-Alpes département, the game festival was possible.
