Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: B106 between Schwerin and Wismar blocked from Tuesday

Dorf Mecklenburg/Groß Stieten (dpa/mv) - Motorists on the federal highway 106 between Schwerin and Wismar have to be prepared for detours from Tuesday. As the road construction office in Schwerin announced on Wednesday, the roadway between the village of Mecklenburg and Groß Stieten (Northwest Mecklenburg district) will be resurfaced over a length of 2.5 kilometers from November 16th to probably 25th and is therefore completely closed. The diversion runs via the L031 and the B208. According to the information, the construction project will cost almost half a million euros, and the federal government will pay for this.
