Stralsund (dpa / mv) - A 60-year-old cyclist crashed into a street lamp in Stralsund and was critically injured. The man drove into the lamp on the Richtenberger Chaussee in the afternoon, the police said on Wednesday evening. Then he fell onto the sidewalk. He was so badly injured that witnesses and rescue workers had to resuscitate him. After that he was taken to the hospital.
According to police, the cyclist was not wearing a helmet during the accident. There was no damage to the bike or the lantern.
