Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Hansa Rostock wins first test against amateur selection

Rostock (dpa/mv) - Second division soccer team FC Hansa Rostock has won a first test in preparation for the coming season. Against a selection of players from the association and state leagues from Rostock and the surrounding area, coach Jens Härtel's team came to a 6:2 (2:2) on Saturday. After the amateurs surprisingly led 2-0 after a quarter of an hour, the pros turned the game around. Among others, the new signing from Paderborn met Kai Pröger.

The game ended bitterly for amateur player Felix Dojahn. According to the "Ostsee-Zeitung", he broke his leg in a duel with Hansas Nico Neidhardt and was taken to a hospital. As the newspaper reported on its website, Neidhardt asked for the injured person's phone number after the game so that he could still be contacted.

Hansa started preparations on Wednesday with three-day performance tests. The game against the selection took place as part of a fan and family day of the club, which was attended by 10,000 people.
