Cologne (dpa / lnw) - An 18-year-old was allegedly threatened with a machete and robbed in Cologne. The young man was with several companions early on Saturday morning on Kennedy-Ufer in Deutz, the police said on Sunday. There he said he was first involved in a conversation by a stranger and then threatened with a machete. The stranger stole 150 euros in cash and then fled. He was accompanied by another man who saw the incident and then ran away with him.

According to the 18-year-old, the perpetrator is said to have been slim and between 17 and 20 years old. He had dark curls. During the crime he is said to have worn a blue and white training jacket and blue jeans, the second man is said to have been dressed in dark. The police are looking for witnesses.
