North Rhine-Westphalia: Accident on Autobahn 46 near Iserlohn: Two injured

Iserlohn (dpa / lnw) - Two drivers were injured in an accident on Autobahn 46. Early on Friday evening, a car in the direction of Hagen skidded at the Iserlohn-Zentrum junction and collided with another car. The second car landed in the middle barrier. The driver of the car, who skidded, was trapped and had to be extricated from the car by firefighters. He was seriously injured and taken to hospital by rescue helicopter. The other driver suffered minor injuries but was also taken to a hospital. The autobahn was still completely closed late in the evening for clean-up work in the direction of Hagen, the police said.
