Cologne (dpa / lnw) - Four teenagers and an 18-year-old are said to have hit four young men at Cologne Central Station at night - one victim is said to have been life-threateningly kicked in the head. The 28-year-old man briefly lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital, but was released after an examination, the police said on Monday.

The 18-year-old is said to be responsible for these kicks. Like his alleged accomplices aged 14 to 17, he is being investigated for dangerous bodily harm.

According to the police, the argument broke out around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday night in a passage in the station building. According to a police spokeswoman, the reason for this was initially unclear. In the case of the 18-year-old presumed main suspect, an alcohol test revealed two per mille. He was aggressive and initially taken into custody.
