Leichlingen (dpa / lnw) - Witnesses prevented the attempted rape of a 22-year-old woman in a city park in Leichlingen. The 25-year-old alleged perpetrator was arrested and should be brought before the magistrate on Tuesday, the police said. According to the police, the man drove to Leichlingen in the same bus as the woman on Monday afternoon and she noticed his nervous and confused behavior. When the woman got out, he walked behind her, suddenly grabbed her from behind in the park and pulled her pants down. The woman fought back, four passers-by came, helped her and alerted the officials.
