Halle (dpa/sa) - Whether opera, theatre, ballet or Staatskapelle: the venues and ensembles united in the Gesellschaft der Bühnen Halle will present their plans for the new 2022/2023 season on Thursday (11 a.m.). The stages in Halle see themselves as contemporary and lively multi-genre theatre. The performances and cultural offerings are aimed at all age groups, as a spokeswoman said. In view of the corona pandemic, the stages in Halle offered productions that theater and music fans could use on their computers.
As at other theaters in Germany, these offers were not sufficient to compensate for the losses of the houses. In addition, there was no direct contact between the artists and the audience, as the houses were temporarily closed due to the measures taken by the federal and state governments to contain the pandemic.
