Saxony-Anhalt: More than 10,000 new training contracts concluded in 2021

Halle (dpa/sa) - Just over 10,000 trainees concluded a new training contract in dual vocational training in Saxony-Anhalt last year. That was about 2.5 percent more than in the previous year, said the State Statistical Office in Halle on Friday. The number of new contracts in the training sector in industry and trade rose particularly sharply, from around 5,800 to 6,100. Almost unchanged, around 2,600 young people began dual vocational training in the trades. There were 420 in agriculture, 417 in the public sector and 474 in the liberal professions.
