According to this information, labor costs in Germany as a whole averaged EUR 37.17 per hour worked. In Saxony they were 17.2 percent lower.
The most expensive in Saxony were the hours worked in companies from the finance and insurance sector (EUR 48.45) and energy supply (EUR 44.66). According to the statisticians, the lowest labor costs per hour were in the hospitality industry (19.03 euros) and in the provision of other economic services (21.41 euros).
