As of this Friday, sick people in the University Hospital, in the Diako Mannheim and in the Theresien Hospital are only allowed to receive one visitor per day. The visitor must wear an FFP2 mask during their stay in the hospital rooms. The Baden-Württemberg Hospital Society had no knowledge of comparable measures in clinics elsewhere.
Exceptions to this rule are the dying and seriously ill, as well as children. The accompaniment to the emergency room, during births and for outpatients with physical or mental disabilities is still possible, as the clinic with 1350 beds further announced.
