Böblingen (dpa / lsw) - In view of the sharp rise in prices, Baden-Württemberg's Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann (Greens) is considering further help for the citizens. The high inflation rates are a burden on the purse and it is a great injustice that it hits the small purse disproportionately, said Kretschmann on Tuesday at an event of the IG Metall in Boeblingen.
"That's why we may have to look for further relief if the federal government's billion-dollar relief packages don't work as hoped," said Kretschmann. However, it must be clear to everyone that the state cannot replace all economic activity.
