Nuremberg/Munich (dpa/lby) - 1. FC Nuremberg is playing a friendly against TSV 1860 Munich during the winter break. As the Franconian second division soccer team announced on Wednesday, the "club" will be making a guest appearance on December 16 (2 p.m.) at the training ground of the troubled third division team. For "Löwen" trainer Michael Köllner it is a reunion with his former employer.
The Nuremberg team will start their first training block on December 12th, after the Christmas break it will continue on January 2nd. Test matches against Erzgebirge Aue, FC Schalke and Sparta Prague have also been agreed so far. 1860 wants to prepare for the second half of the season with a test against Bundesliga side TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
