For a year there has been speculation about the married life of Prince Albert II and Charlène. The couple is said to have lived separately for a long time and only make public appointments together. In Oslo, however, they simply kiss the rumors away.
Princess Charlène and Prince Albert II show their private happiness in Oslo and simply kiss away the rumors that have been circulating about an alleged love break-up for a long time. The Monegasque royal couple arrived in Norway with their children, seven-year-old twins Gabriella and Jacques, for an official visit. A private royal luncheon was held at Bygdø Kongsgård mansion in Oslo, attended by the Monegasques, King Harald V and Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, and Princess Märtha Louise.
Haakon and Albert then opened an exhibition in the Fram Museum. Shortly before, the kiss between the Monegasque prince and his wife Charlène apparently came. Other photos show the two in an intimate embrace.
It is Princess Charlène's first trip after a long battle with health problems. At the beginning of June she was infected with the corona virus. The 44-year-old only returned to Monaco in March after a lengthy stay in a hospital in Switzerland. Previously, she was stuck in South Africa for many months last year with an ear, nose and throat disease and was unable to return to Europe.
So is everything all right again in the Monegasque princely family? Some observers have their doubts. Rumors are circulating that Charlène is said to have negotiated a tough deal with the palace. As the French magazine "Voici" recently reported, the princess is moving to Geneva, where she is to be supported by the principality with twelve million euros a year. In return, she has promised to regularly take part in public representation appointments.
"We missed the Princess very much. And we were obviously hurt by the malicious rumors that were being spread," Albert said in an interview with "Le Journal de Dimanche" in early June. "But we were able to stick together despite the distance, we often spoke to each other." The royal couple has been married since 2011.
