Offenbach (dpa / lnw) - On Wednesday, people in North Rhine-Westphalia can expect changeable and sometimes wintry weather. In the morning it will be smooth in some areas in the north and east of the country, snow is expected to fall in the south-west, which will spread to large parts of the country by noon, according to the German Weather Service (DWD). During the day the precipitation turns into rain. The maximum temperatures are between two and five degrees, at high altitudes between zero and two degrees. In the night of Thursday it should snow again from Münsterland to East Westphalia. There is a risk of ice.
The DWD expects gray weather for Thursday. Rain falls first in the south and snow in the north. After a break in precipitation, it will rain again in the afternoon. Temperatures will reach four degrees in the north-east and up to eight degrees in the south. It is similarly uncomfortable on Friday with heavy cloud cover and intermittent rain. A maximum of eight degrees can be expected in the north of NRW and twelve in the south.
