Bavaria: 18-year-old breaks into the Germanisches Nationalmuseum

Nuremberg (dpa / lby) - An 18-year-old drunk broke into the German National Museum in Nuremberg. Witnesses observed him on Sunday night breaking a window and climbing into the museum, the police said on Monday. The officers surrounded the building and found the 18-year-old in the basement of the museum. The reason given by the young man for his burglary was that he felt persecuted and sought refuge in the museum from panic. The 18-year-old now has to answer for trespassing and property damage.
