Hessen: 55-year-old after a knife attack in Park in court

Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) - After a life-threatening knife attack in Frankfurt's Ostpark, a 55-year-old homeless person has to answer to the Frankfurt Regional Court from today. The indictment charges him with attempted manslaughter and dangerous bodily harm. According to the indictment, there was initially a verbal argument between the heavily intoxicated defendant and his opponent, who was also under the influence of alcohol. The 55-year-old then pulled out a knife and stabbed five times. The jury initially scheduled four days of hearings until mid-October.
