Dusseldorf (dpa / lnw) - Dusseldorf will take down and store all signs that refer to the twin city of Moscow. Instead, signs for the new Ukrainian twin town of Chernivtsi will soon be installed, Mayor Stephan Keller (CDU) announced on Monday.
Düsseldorf's twinning with Moscow was put on hold a few days after Russia attacked Ukraine. The state capital then decided on a new partnership with the western Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi.
