Saxony-Anhalt: State Secretary Michael Schneider is retiring

Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - After more than 20 years in office, the representative of the state of Saxony-Anhalt to the federal government and head of the state representation in Berlin, State Secretary Michael Schneider, is retiring. Schneider will retire at the end of September for reasons of age, said a spokesman for the State Chancellery in Magdeburg on Wednesday. A successor should be announced by the end of the month.
