The set of Save me was revolutionized on Tuesday, July 19 by the presence of some unexpected visitors. The cameras of the Telecinco space showed that there were several black beetles on the ground, although those present mistook them for cockroaches.
Terelu Campos was in charge of the magazine, which the day before had begun to pose challenges to its pundits in the style of What are we betting? The protagonist of the challenge on this occasion was Carmen Alcayde, who had to get 15 people on bicycles to reach Mediaset. If she succeeded, Kiko Hernández would be forced to shower live. Otherwise, she would have to go underwater, which is what happened in the late afternoon.
Her partner hugged her from behind on set when they were talking about the game and commented, "Carmen isn't going to shower by herself." Her collaborator took out a tissue with which he had collected a couple of insects and threw them on her hair. "Is it mucus? What is this?" The journalist asked confused. After seeing one of the creatures on the ground, she started to run away and screamed: "No! Please, I'm asking you! Another one, please, it's a cockroach!"
Hernández chased her around the set and showed the bug in front of a camera: "His name is Alfredo and he's going to shower with Carmen Alcayde." She this she came to hide behind a woman who was in the audience, but she didn't even prevent the talk show host from bringing her paper handkerchief with a beetle to her head, sowing chaos in the program.
The collaborator, shaking her hair and very upset, approached one of those present in the audience. "Take it away from me, please!" She begged him. She ended up back on her couch, visibly upset, while those present couldn't contain their laughter.
Hernandez's next victim was Lydia Lozano, who appears to have had a beetle slip under her dress. Gema López and Laura Fa came to her aid, while the screams and laughter took over the set. The journalist did not stop shaking her clothes and she ended up going to the bathroom.
Save me taught throughout the afternoon that more insects had crept onto the set, which again caused panic among those present. "This is worse than Survivors!" He could read one of the signs. It is not the first time that insects have become protagonists of Save me. Last Thursday, July 14, something similar had already happened on the set, when Asraf Beno picked up what looked like a cockroach and tried to scare those present.
In the summer of 2021, it was Paz Padilla who put a cockroach on a table, terrorizing Miguel Frigenti and Laura Fa. "That disgusts me a lot! It really scares me," the collaborator released while the presenter laughed.
